Additional Information: This quote by author Nigel Marsh means that corporate policies designed to promote a work-life balance -- such as "casual Fridays" -- do not adequately address the problem they are designed to help, which is that many workers are unable to have a healthy home life because of the demands of their job. The quote is from Marsh's 2011 TED Talk on the subject of work-life balance. Watch the full TED Talk here: Nigel Marsh - How to Make Work-Life Balance Work
